Vermont Association for the Blind and
Visually Impaired (VABVI)

VABVI provides the support, tools and materials necessary for Vermont's blind and visually impaired children and teens to succeed. Our itinerant Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) begin work with infants, children and their families as soon as visual impairment is discovered. We help parents and families learn about resources, teaching techniques and adaptive technology that can ensure the successful development of children in the home, school and community.
