Visually Impaired (VABVI)

Infant/Toddler: When a child is born with little or no vision, care must be taken to ensure she or he learns the skills necessary to keep up with sighted peers.

VABVI instructors begin to work with infants as soon as possible, assisting the family in learning to use other senses to gather and share information about the world around them. Many resources are available to families of blind or visually impaired children. Instructors can help point you in the right direction.
